Intermedia Solutions Rebrands to InterSend

Moving to a new group structure

Following a long period of sustained growth, coupled with the introduction of a new group structure, Intermedia Solutions will re-brand to InterSend with immediate effect.

Today, we announce several changes, which sees the company move to a group structure, with clearly defined operating entities.

InterSend – formerly known as Intermedia Solutions, re-brands to become InterSend Ltd. We have achieved strong growth over the last twelve months, not least in the area of Storage, eCommerce Fulfilment, Direct Mail and our Parcel Distribution services. This growth has been achieved thanks to the increasing print volumes we now handle on behalf of our magazine publisher clients, but also non-magazine clients too, who engage in our pick, pack and despatch services to reach all corners of the world.

Our strategic goal remains to maintain our growth within the print and adjacent markets, whilst expanding our reach into new categories with a specific emphasis on the global growth of eCommerce, direct mail and parcel distribution.

InterSend will form a key business division under the newly created holdings company InterGo, creating a clear and coherent group of companies, each with their own respective disciplines and expertise.

Two further businesses complete the group structure.

InterMedia – will continue to provide dedicated retail newsstand, subscription marketing and fulfilment services to our growing portfolio of magazine publisher clients. InterMedia continues to attract new publishing clients seeking to grow and develop their retail newsstand presence, subscription base and increasingly, a balanced strategy across both routes to the consumer.

InterDirect – becomes home to our direct to consumer magazine platform, magazinesupermarket.co.uk which will launch in the Spring of 2021. The platform will provide consumers with a category-wide range of both domestic and international magazine brands for purchase in print, as well as digital. In a world where eCommerce continues to play an increasing role in purchasing behaviour, we look forward to increasing our B2C sales and expanding our reach.

Commenting on this announcement, group managing director John Bardsley said, “I am delighted to be announcing these changes today which reflect not just the tremendous business we have built over the last ten years, but importantly, the changing marketplace in which we operate. At the heart of what we do, sits the relentless effort to provide service excellence to all our clients and ensure the business continues to remain match-fit in the years ahead. This is a very exciting development for both ourselves and our clients, and we look forward to taking the business to greater heights in the years ahead”.
